Leftover Upma Cutlets

Make Upma cutlets with leftover upma. There is not better hack than this to get your kids to eat this nutrient packed breakfast or snack.

Call these leftover Upma Cutlets cheese daal ke, OR Cheesy Semolina Croquettes!

The outcome will surprise you!  The little one lapped 3 of these in one go, making me promise that I must make these at least once a week!

This ladies and gentlemen is the POWER OF MARKETING!

How else do you think Salman Khan’s movies like Kick, Dabbang, Tiger Zinda Hai , that actually test the human IQ, get those Rs. 100 Cr. bumper openings anyway? Because — They are marketed and promoted fabulously!

It works every single time! It really does!  In my house, with me specialising in brand marketing, I use every trick in the trade to get even palak ki sabzi past the little one — wilted Spinach tempered with garlic, green chilies and cumin. – S.M.O.O.T.H.

Mothers are the world’s most brilliant marketeers! Hands down!

If anyone has any leftover upma, add one boiled mashed potato to it and some cornflour. Not too much, else it will taste too doughy. Add salt, aamchur, chaat masala, dhania powder, haldi, red chili powder, and lots of fresh coriander. Make your patties. You can add some cheese in the centre of the patties of you like. Allow them to refrigerate for around 15 mins. Roll each cutlet in cornflour and rava and shallow fry. Serve hot with chutney. Simple!

No one will know! Believe me!

Serve hot with chutney. Simple!
